As for the worth of those works that were written or wrought by wretches (OE wreccan), those who were once Théodsmen but who are now gone from the Théodish Ríce, we thusly reckon their thewfulness:
I. Of those works written, wrought, and shaped by wreccan when they were still Théodsmen in good standing with the Théodish Ríce and which were forthset (published) by Háliggyld Books, by its forerunner Théod Books, or some other céapstów (market) of the Ríce, we hold that they may still be of worth to Théodsmen today. However some heed should be taken, as it is likely that our understanding of lore since has deepened and our grasp of thew has since strengthened.
II. Of those works written, wrought, and shaped by wreccan after they left the Ríce, we hold that these are not held to be Théodish, though it might be that some worthy Heathen lore and thew might be found within them.
III. Of those works written, wrought, and shaped by wreccan after they left the Ríce, yet which wrongly and misleadingly claim to be Théodish, we hold these to be of no worth at all to Théodsmen nor to anyone who would wish to rightly understand anything of our belief and thew.
Given by the Théodish Ríce’s Cyning and Witegan at a Witenagemót of the Théodish Ríce which was held at Whitthenge Heall on II Ærra Líða MMXXVI. To this deeming did the Cyning set his hand and his Witan give their rede.
